A Dynamic Industry Spokesman

IBC's mission is to represent property and casualty insurers while reinforcing and supporting the profession.

To this end, IBC:

• maintains steady contact with government, consumers and all other interested parties;
  
  
• participates in regulatory and legislative affairs, including the drafting of new legislation;
  
  
• works closely with the government and other Industry partners on prevention initiatives;
  
  
• gathers and disseminates specialized information, including reports and statistics;
  
  
• provides the general public with information about insurance both in everyday life and in times of crisis;
  
  
• develops education and awareness campaigns for consumers.

Not only is IBC the voice of the Industry, it is also a valuable partner for the government, for the P&C insurance field and for consumers.
