Having Trouble Getting Insurance?

To benefit from IBC's free assistance service, you must first have tried to obtain insurance from several insurers or brokers, and demonstrate that you have been unable to find insurance. You can then contact an agent at the Insurance Information Centre.

It should be noted that, in the case where insurance has been refused on account of a false declaration (when signing the policy or making a claim), fraud or a criminal act, IBC will not intervene.
